Hello, Let me introduce myself. My name is Florentina CARRIER, I am 20 years-old and I am currently in my third year preparing for a five-year Master’s Degree in Space Design, especially in interior design at L’Ecole de design de Nantes Atlantique..

I like create and in particular, I love integrate ingenuity in my creations. Thanks to my school, to my 2-months expérience in an architectural agency and to lots of encounters that I could have in my life, I worked on many projects, houses, apartments, shops, camps, pool, wind farm but also, logos for t-shirt and posters…These are the reasons why I have acquired many capacities (organization, methods, technique, pragmatism, flexibility and perfectionism…

First of all, I like challenges , I have this obsessive mind that have scientists: as long as I’ve not reached my goal, I continue to search. Integrate science and engineering in my art and in my projects allows me to confront myself to new challenges.

Moreover, I learned to use many software like, sketchup, autocad,  photoshop, illustrator, indesign, aftereffect, revit, 3dsmax,...

But is that really what you want to know? no, I don’t think so. If I had to really introduce myself, I will talk at first of what defines my personality.

Moreover,I have acquired this character thanks to the sport. I have practiced swimming synchronized for 13 years until reaching National Elite level. This level, I did’nt get it in one day. I started very young in a little swimming club at châteaubriant (a very small town) where I grew up. When I was 13, I moved to Nantes to reach a highter level. I was alone, without my parents, so I learned autonomy and independence very young. Integrate a new team was not easy. For 2 years I was trying to reach a level that I thought never have, I had to prove I was at the height of a such team and when I had finally succed to find my place, it was not over. I still had to learn teamwork. With my team, we helped each other, we exhausted, encouraged, fell, recovered, laughed and cried together !! We advanced together with the same goal: to excel.

Today I'm not a swimmer anymore, but sport is always present in my life, just in a new form. This is what allows me to keep my strength of character.

The person I am today is a long building founded by my past

 I am now totally immersed in a new passion: the space design. And when I work, I always work like this: I observe, I analyze, I understand, I learn, I’m sometimes discouraged, but I try to stay optimist and I continue, I’m picking and never give up to have the desired result. For me, working in teams is became essential. Not just be more to produce more, but because I need to share my passion with people as passionate as me. In the design team, like in sport, we support us and move forward together to achieve our goal.

And when the result is in front of us, we finally understand why we do this job, emotions are huge. And the best part is that we are not alone in feeling this, we can share these emotions together.
 

Now, as a student in space design I am looking for news experiences in the workplace. So, if you Give me the chance to show you What I am worth and what I can Bring to your company, I am sure I will not disappoint you
